I spent a week a Casa Kame with my girlfriend in late April and had the best time.
First of all, our room was spacious, with plenty of drawers and cabinets to store our belongings. Each room has AC so we got to bask in its coolness after each trip into La Punta that left us quite sweaty. The room was equipped with the most comfortable king sized bed and my girlfriend and I have never slept so well. There’s a mini kitchenette with a mini fridge, sink, small electric stove, plus plates and silverware. We frequently bought wine and snacks to store in the fridge to eat and drink at our leisure.
As an American, I was worried about clean water, but Casa Kame had clean filtered water in the common area that allowed us to refill our water bottles and never be worried about being dehydrated or succumbing to Montezuma’s revenge.
After a long day under the hot Oaxacan sun, we loved getting to relax in the small pool. There were showers to help us rinse off the sand and dirt from our time at the beach, which was quite necessary. The pool is small but incredibly refreshing and peaceful.
There’s also a beautiful rooftop with lots of seating, a grill, and a gorgeous 360 degree view of the surrounding area.
Our entire trip was incredible and we can’t wait to visit again!!!
