Welcome to Casa Kame
Our History
It all started because of our passion for surfing and our love for the sea. When I used to live in Cali, I realized the discipline and passion people put on their hobbies, specifically on surf. When I was entering the surf world, the cost of Oaxaca caught my eye as referent, because of the legendary waves in Zicatela, the coast full of secluded beaches.
The adrenaline of the next wave, the passion of finding the best spot was the beginning of this project.
When we move here, we discover what was missing, and we were playing around with the idea of creating a space where people could stay and get to know the place without missing basic commodities.
Our favorite cartoon has always been Dragon Ball Z, in this cartoon Master Roshi lives peculiarly. That way inspires me. A taste for life and lust at the same time, but irradiating peace and relaxation. That was our inspiration when we were creating the concept: a fun, relaxing place where the freedom and zest for life are applauded with a standing ovation.
A place where Mister Roshi would be happy, where you can be happy living your best life and always coming back to a place that you can call a second home. Where relaxation, laugh, surf, recover and disconnect from your daily routine is the most important thing.
